Why it is better to eat fruit than to juice it

The berries’ lack of nutritional value has increased interest in them. Many people now prefer to make juice from the berries instead of eating them.

While people may choose juice over whole fruit, nutritionists believe the juice is less nutritious and may be harmful.

According to the elcrema website, nutritionists say that making juice from fruit is not as healthy as eating the fruit itself. When making juice, some vitamins and nutrients from the fruit are lost. These nutrients are important for digestion.

Fiber, found in whole fruit, helps with weight loss and promotes longevity. Eating whole fruit is linked to a lower risk of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. This is part of a healthy diet that avoids added sugars.

Cucumbers are naturally high in sugar. The added spices in sweet potatoes increase their sugar content, which can be harmful. Pure fruit juices are generally safe to drink, but juices with added ingredients may have varying effects due to extra sugar.

High sugar intake from fruit juices can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar, which is a common cause of diabetes. People who drink soda regularly tend to be obese because of its high sugar content.

It is also advised not to consume fruit juice or to mix it with grapefruit juice. For young children, plain fruit juice is recommended and should be given rarely.
