The president of Gasogi United, KNC, has declared his intention to defeat Rayon Sports in order to take revenge on APR FC for the fans’ behavior during the CAF Champions League.
On September 21, 2024, Gasogi United will host Rayon Sports in the fourth match of the Rwandan Championship 2024-25 at Stade Amahoro.
Gasogi United is preparing intensively for this match, signaling that it will be a significant event both on the field and for entertainment. They aim to win to stay at the top of the Rwandan league, where they currently have 7 points.
In an interview with InyaRwanda TV on Tuesday, KNC stated that Rayon Sports fans will leave the stadium in tears after their team loses to Gasogi United.
KNC assured APR FC fans that he will take action against Rayon Sports because their supporters made a mistake by supporting Pyramid from Egypt during their match against APR FC in the CAF Champions League. KNC sees this as a serious offense that Gasogi United will address.
He also mentioned Rayon Sports captain, Muhire Kevin, who recently responded to a Gasogi United fan’s comments, emphasizing that players should not argue with fans, especially if they struggle during the game.
KNC emphasized that the preparation for the Gasogi United vs. Rayon Sports match has been thorough, as it promises to be exciting for both football fans and those who are less interested in the sport.
While the main focus is on the match, KNC mentioned that there will be famous Rwandan personalities present, ensuring entertainment for everyone, including non-football fans.
KNC envisions the event as a perfect opportunity for couples to enjoy their time together, with affordable food and drinks available.
He noted that there will be great music featuring DJ Marino and renowned performers like Muyango, among others, to enhance the entertainment experience.
In strong words, KNC expressed that although his team drew with Amagaju, he was not discouraged. Instead, it showed him the resilience and determination of Gasogi United.
Despite initially trailing by two goals, his players fought hard, and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Currently, Gasogi United leads the Rwandan Championship 2024-25 with 7 points, having won matches against Mukura and Marines FC, while drawing with Amagaju.
Rayon Sports, on the other hand, has only 2 points after two matches, having drawn with Marines FC and Amagaju FC.
