‘Sophia can no longer ignore the feelings’ The Boss Lady & Her Worker: A Forbidden Love, Ep 3

Sophia can no longer ignore the feelings she’s developing for Michael. It bothers her—she’s never allowed emotions to interfere with her life. Her role as the boss, both in her company and her home, is clear-cut, or at least it used to be. Michael is just a home worker, she tells herself, but every interaction between them feels charged with a different energy now.

One afternoon, Sophia decides to host a dinner party for her business partners. Michael, as always, takes charge of all the preparations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. As the night progresses, Sophia’s mind drifts, distracted by the way Michael moves around the room, so effortlessly in control of the evening, just as she is in the boardroom.

As the guests leave, Michael stays behind to clean up. Sophia offers to help, a rare gesture from her. They work side by side in the kitchen, the atmosphere between them comfortable, yet filled with unspoken tension.

“You didn’t have to stay so late tonight,” Michael says, breaking the silence.

“I wanted to,” Sophia replies, glancing up at him. “You always take care of everything around here. I thought I should do the same, for once.”

Michael smiles, and for the first time, Sophia realizes how much his presence has come to mean to her. They’re no longer just employer and employee—there’s something deeper here, something neither of them can deny anymore.

As they finish cleaning, Sophia hesitates before speaking. “Michael… I don’t know how to say this, but I think things between us have changed.”

Michael turns to her, his gaze steady. “I’ve felt it too, Sophia.”

In that moment, all the unspoken words between them seem to hang in the air. But just as quickly, Sophia pulls back. She’s afraid of crossing a line that could complicate everything. She thanks him for his work that evening and retreats to her room, leaving Michael standing alone, wondering what could have happened if she’d stayed just a little longer.
