The Egyptian team, Pyramid FC, has arrived in Rwanda to play the first match of the second round of the CAF Champions League, which features top clubs from Africa.
On the night of Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at around 9 PM, the team landed at Kigali International Airport, where they were welcomed by APR FC’s spokesperson, Tony Kabanda.
The large group of 52 people from Pyramid FC immediately headed to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kimihurura, where they will stay during their time in Rwanda.
This important match is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 6 PM at Amahoro Stadium.
Ghanaian referees Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea, Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey, Seth Abletor, and Charle Benle Bulu will officiate the match.
APR FC has a difficult history with Pyramid FC, as they were eliminated by them last year. Pyramid FC won the second leg in Cairo, Egypt, with a score of 6-1, after a goalless draw (0-0) in the first leg in Kigali.
